holding memories from the sun
keeping to our chests the whispers of ancestors
Custodians of the earth’s breath
Rooted
Grounded
Secure
We watch our brothers…

They quip in unison
Deep rumbling laughter echoes through the forest
Unseen_reverberating_underground
a complex system
baffling those whose own design is analogous to ours
denies ours
As within, so without
Our antennas reach beyond yours
the same nonetheless
As above, so below.
We mirror language and emotion so you may reflect
As the universe, so the soul
